Overview
Casino Niagara was the first casino in the city and it still behaves like it. The building sits on Falls Avenue at the bottom of Clifton Hill, in the middle of the tourist strip rather than above it, and the two-level floor is louder, tighter and considerably less polished than its sibling up the hill.
There is no hotel tower attached, which is the single fact that most defines a visit. Casino Niagara is connected by indoor walkway to several partner hotels in the Falls Avenue Resort complex, so you can stay a two-minute walk away without going outside, but you are booking a hotel and a casino separately rather than as one package.
The trade is straightforward: you give up the resort experience and get lower table minimums, a shorter walk to the falls and a floor with more energy per square foot. For a lot of visitors that is the better deal.

Slots & slot machines
Around 1,300 slot machines across two levels, with a heavier weighting toward lower denominations than at Fallsview. The upper level is the quieter of the two.
Table games
Roughly 30 gaming tables — blackjack, roulette, baccarat and a handful of card games. Minimums start meaningfully lower than at the resort properties, which is the main reason regulars come here.
Poker room
No dedicated poker room. Poker players in Niagara Falls head to Fallsview.
Sportsbook
A sportsbook area with screens and lounge seating operates on the main level.

Live dealer tables on both levels, supported by electronic terminals.
High rollers & VIP
A modest high-limit area exists, but serious high rollers are directed up the hill to Fallsview's Salon Privé.
Hotel & resort
Casino Niagara has no rooms of its own. It sits inside the Falls Avenue Resort complex and connects indoors to several hotels of varying standard — that link is genuinely useful in winter. Book the hotel on its own merits; proximity to this casino floor is a convenience, not a reason to overpay.

Verdict
