Casino du Lac-Leamy is the strongest casino hotel package in Quebec and one of the best in the country. The Loto-Québec casino sits on the shore of Lac Leamy in Gatineau, connected directly to the Hilton Lac-Leamy — roughly 349 rooms, a serious spa and a large conference operation — and the two function as a single property.
The floor is mid-large: around 1,800 slot machines and 65 gaming tables, well laid out, with a calmer atmosphere than the Ontario equivalents across the river. The building opens onto the water, which does more for the mood than any interior scheme could.
Ottawa is twenty minutes away, which makes this the casino hotel for anyone visiting the capital. The combination of a genuine Hilton, a lakeside setting and a full gaming floor is unique in eastern Canada.
