Cascades Casino Langley
The Fraser Valley option — modest, comfortable, and genuinely good value.
out of 10

Overview
Cascades Casino Langley is the template Gateway has repeated across British Columbia: a mid-sized gaming floor, an attached hotel of around ninety rooms, a convention centre and a summit-style event space, all under one roof in a suburban downtown.
Nobody travels across the country for it, and it does not pretend otherwise. What it does well is serve the Fraser Valley — reasonable rooms, a comfortable floor with about 900 slot machines and 30 gaming tables, and prices that make a spontaneous overnight easy to justify.
For visitors touring the valley wineries or heading to the interior, it is a sensible stop. For anyone comparing flagship casino resorts, it is not in the same conversation.
The casino floor
What is actually in the room, category by category. Counts are approximate and shift as machines are rotated — we last checked this property in July 2026.
Slots & slot machines
Around 900 slot machines, refreshed regularly, with a small high-limit bank.
Table games
Roughly 30 gaming tables — blackjack, roulette, baccarat and a few card games, with low minimums by BC standards.
Poker room
Poker runs on a limited schedule; confirm before travelling.
Sportsbook
Sports wagering terminals available on the floor.
Live casino
Live dealer tables with electronic terminals alongside.
High rollers & VIP
A modest high-limit area with host service for regulars.
Hotel & resort
The attached Coast Hotel carries roughly ninety rooms — clean, contemporary, well-maintained, entirely unremarkable and priced accordingly. The convention space next door means mid-week availability can vanish without warning during events.
On site
- approx. 90 rooms
- Fitness centre
- Convention and event space
- Multiple restaurants and a pub
- Free parking
Dining
Where to eat without leaving the property. Descriptions are our own; nothing here is paid placement.
Match Eatery & Public House
Gateway's pub format — screens, decent food, the busiest room in the building.
Casual dining and buffet
Straightforward options on the gaming level.
Entertainment
The Summit Theatre and event space host community and touring events at a smaller scale than the metro venues. This is a local room, not a destination one.

Pros and cons
What works
- Best value casino hotel in British Columbia
- Everything under one roof including the hotel
- Free parking and easy highway access
- Low table minimums
What does not
- Small gaming floor with limited table variety
- Rooms are functional, not memorable
- Little to do within walking distance
Verdict
A good, honest, mid-market casino hotel. Right for a valley overnight or a stop on the way east — wrong if you are choosing one BC property to see.
